I finally have all the documentation for “snow” that i want for the time being, and have posted everything here, including a rough recording of a beautiful performance by TRANSIT (who commissioned the piece). ive been wrestling with the score for something like four months now, and will post one last revision of it shortly. im still awaiting the performance and/or recordings from a handful of new pieces/recent concerts, so more new/recent music is coming in the future.
I posted all of the documentation i was able to get from the exhibition of my installation, “quarters,” at Issue Project Room here. also, information about better than future, my laptop ensemble with Scott Cazan and Elisabeth McMullin, as part of the CEAIT Festival at REDCAT (curated by Mark Trayle) can be found on the live page.
Here is extensive information about an upcoming event im part of in new york.

Here is a nice article, written by Michael Pisaro, detailing the beginnings, and conceptual apparatus behind, the wandelweiser movement. its a lovely article documenting an ongoing large body of powerful work in experimental music.

-tomorrow afternoon i leave for a two or so week residency at STEIM in Amsterdam.
-lastly, i will be splitting a show of new music, with my good friend David Kant, at the wulf on November 7th. not sure which piece im doing yet (probably either “snow” or a new laptop piece).
Just wanted to draw attention to a few things i am currently working on or involved in:
-i recently completed a piece for Danny Holt, for pianist and percussion batterie.
-i will be premiering a new laptop piece in Long Beach at the Slow Sound Festival on September 16th.
-a new piece for the New York-based new music ensemble, Transit, is in progress. see the live page for more information.
